More than anything else, this blog serves as my online diary. Forgive me, but I couldn't let this saddest of days pass without making an entry.
Politicians come and go but, for over 70 years, The Queen has been a constant, small figure of calm in an often turbulent world.
The nation has lost its anchor, and I for one am heartbroken.
